Committed to Maintaining a Safe Place to Learn and Perform

We believe the best comedy begins with respect for ourselves and others. Performing and enjoying comedy often requires us to step outside our comfort zone, and we want all performers, students and audience members to feel respected and safe so they can explore and learn in a safe and welcoming environment.

Reno Improv is committed to a work and performance environment in which everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Each individual has the right to work and perform in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal opportunities and prohibits discriminatory practices, including harassment. Therefore, Reno Improv expects that all relationships among persons in the workplace will be business-like and free of bias, prejudice, discrimination and harassment.

In order to keep this commitment, Reno Improv maintains a strict policy of prohibiting unlawful harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment and harassment based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, sex, age, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by state, federal or local employment discrimination laws. All students will be asked to sign a sexual harassment policy agreement before beginning a course with Reno Improv. To view our formal sexual harassment policy, please contact our team and we will email you a form.
