Emote Control – Improv Workshop

How can an improviser perform stellar shows, memorable characters, and compelling ‘yes, and’? With real, grounded, powerful emotions. As actors (improv or scripted), we are at our best when we master our ability to display powerful grounded emotions. In this workshop, you’ll access and exercise the skills to summon your emotions and use them to skyrocket your performance. And we’ll have a lot of fun!

Guest Instructor Rich Baker,  author of the book Improv Made Easier, has performed all over the U.S. with The Second City, ComedySportz Chicago, Mission Improvable, and his festival headlining duo with Rolland Lopez, Rollin’ In Riches. He was a writer for the hit YouTube series Epic Rap Battles of History. Any level of improv experience, including beginners, is welcome. Intended for participants 18+.
