Musical Improv – Level 3: The Improvised Musical

Join us while we tackle all of the skills learned to create an improvised musical in one weekend. From opening numbers to stand out solos, and ensemble singing to show stopping closing numbers, this intensive will cover it all! This even will run on Saturday, October 18 from 12 PM to 7 PM and Sunday, October 19 from 10 AM to 5 PM. There will be an hour break during both sessions for lunch.

A long weekend, yes.  But it’s sure to be a whole lot of fun!  We hope to see you there!

Over the course of this immersive class, participants will explore techniques for improvising songs, developing characters, and crafting compelling narratives on the fly. Using hands-on exercises and collaborative performances that build your confidence and creativity, this intensive will sharpen your skills and deepen your understanding of musical improvisation, leaving you ready to take the stage!

This class culminates in a showcase, where students demonstrate what they’ve learned before a supportive audience of family, friends and fellow improvisers on October 19 at 8 PM.

Prerequisites: Musical Improv Levels 1 and 2, or instructor approval (please contact us if you have questions)
