Slowing Down – Improv Class
This advanced level workshop explores slowing down, trusting your intuition, and forming deeper emotional connections to your scene partners. The focus is on listening/reacting, raising the stakes, and improvising from a place of truth, rather than a place of “funny,” in an effort to create characters who are real, honest, and vulnerable.
Prerequisites: Levels 1, 2 and 3 or instructor approval.
Registration is due by September 13, 2026.
This class culminates in a showcase on Monday, October 12 at 7 PM, where students demonstrate what they’ve learned before a supportive audience of family, friends and fellow improvisers.
Please note: This workshop requires students to explore uncomfortable topics, such as shame, loss, depression, betrayal, and death.
