Join us for a special workshop with guest instructor Michael Lewis! This workshop, The Only Reason to Enter a Scene, is limited to just 20 students and is only available on Saturday, October 21 at 1 PM – 3:30 PM.
Every scene no matter how much it seems to be struggling has created something worth exploring. We will work on adding to scenes with the express purpose of serving the work that has already been done. Often struggling scenes are left alone to die or a character is added shifting away from what has been established. This throws out what has already been done. We will work on noticing what is already going on and making moves born of that scene. All scenes have something worth exploring—let’s find it and explore it.
